A person with knowledge of the situation tells The Associated Press that Adrian Peterson has informed Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Zimmer that he will not be attending the team's optional practices that start on Tuesday. Peterson has been unhappy with the Vikings for a perceived lack of support from within the organization while he addressed child abuse charges last season.
