
The Pittsburgh Steelers and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger have agreed on a contract extension to keep the franchise cornerstone in black and gold beyond his 12th NFL season. Roethlisberger and Steelers President Art Rooney II were expected to speak during a news conference Friday evening. The move keeps the two-time Super Bowl winner in Pittsburgh beyond a previous deal that was set to expire after the 2015 season. Roethlisberger also had 32 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
