David Harris is staying put in the middle of the New York Jets' defense. The team announced Friday that it had re-signed the playmaking linebacker who has more than 1,000 career tackles in his eight seasons with the Jets. Harris, 31, has been a consistent leader on the Jets' defense since he was drafted in the second round out of Michigan in 2007. He has led the Jets in tackles in all but one of his seasons with the Jets, and relayed the signals for former coach Rex Ryan's defense. More...
