A woman who said she was beaten by New Orleans Saints linebacker Junior Galette in early January has filed a civil lawsuit accusing the NFL player of subjecting her to false imprisonment, human trafficking, rape and other types of physical and mental abuse. The lawsuit also contains allegations against several other Saints players, but does not name them. Galette's lawyer, Ralph Whalen said Thursday's lawsuit ''is filled with lies'' and was filed only after Galette rejected a $2 million ''shakedown.'' ''We unequivocally rejected their offer because we are confident an investigation and a full hearing of the facts will reveal that Junior Galette behaved appropriately and will be cleared,'' Whalen said.
