Browns starting running back Ben Tate will miss this week's home opener against New Orleans with a knee sprain, moving rookies Terrance West and Isaiah Crowell up the depth chart. Cleveland coach Mike Pettine said Tate ''will miss some time.'' He did not provide any details on the injury and only confirmed Tate will miss Sunday's game against the Saints. In his absence, West and Crowell performed well in the second half. West, a third-round draft pick from Towson, rushed for 100 yards, and Crowell, an undrafted free agent from Alabama State, scored two touchdowns.
