Lawyers for Aaron Hernandez are due in court on their request for a subpoena to compel the New England Patriots to hand over Hernandez's medical and other records. Hernandez's attorneys said last month the records are potentially relevant to the ex-NFL player's circumstances and state of mind and are critical to preparations for his murder trial. Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to murder in the 2013 shooting death of Odin Lloyd, a semi-professional football player who was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee.
