Walking to practice one day this spring, Maty Mauk let his mind wander. The Missouri quarterback thought about the ''little things'' that have changed in the first few practices of his second season playing with the Tigers, such as throwing a pass before a receiver cuts across the field, rather than after. Even if he wasn't quite himself last fall, Mauk impressed nearly everyone during his freshman season.
