Iowa State defensive lineman David Irving has been arrested and charged with domestic assault of his girlfriend. Police say Irving acknowledged arguing with the woman, who lives with him and is the mother of their child, but he denied cutting her hair. Irving is being held in Story County jail on a charge of domestic assault with injury.
