The coaches in this program are extremely unprofessional. They constantly talk poorly about other gyms/coachesin the area -in front of kids and parents in their program and on their personally and Capital Cheer Facebook pages. In the past, they verbally abused some of the kids in their program - at the gym and at competitions. FOr 2 competition seasons, they had kids competiting on teams they had aged out of by either photo shopping birth certificates or uising a younger siblings birth certificate. For many of their "National" titles, they are the only team competiting in their division. (They will try to find a way to be the only team in at least one division they are competiting in, if at all possible.) They know how to teach kids to "throw" skills, but not to perform them. In fact, many of the kids that have left their program (and, there are QUITE a few) have had to relearn the skills they were taught while at Capital. SO, I guess if you want to send your child to a program where a "select" few kids will be put on a pedastal and the others are there simply to provide the gym owners with a "pay check" then join this gym. Otherwise, there are 3 other all-star programs in the area - ones with more professional coaches, who will work with all of the childredn, who won't cheat to win competitions and have much better facilities.
