Cleveland Indians designated hitter Carlos Santana is out of the lineup against the Los Angeles Angels on Friday, a day after suffering a contusion on the right side of his head when he was hit by a foul ball in the dugout. Santana was standing behind the railing on the top step of the dugout when he was struck by teammate Francisco Lindor's foul in the fifth inning Thursday night. Indians manager Terry Francona said following the game that Santana was doing better but would be monitored for concussion symptoms.
