The Baltimore Orioles placed right-hander Yovani Gallardo on the 15-day disabled list Saturday with tendinitis in the shoulder of his pitching arm. Gallardo returned Saturday to Baltimore to be examined by Dr. Michael Jacobs, the club's orthopedist, and will have a MRI Sunday to detect the severity of the injury.
