Stanford's Quinn Brodey hit a two-run inside-the-park homer with two outs in the ninth inning, leading the Cardinal to a stunning 6-5 comeback victory over Arizona on Sunday. With Stanford trailing by a run and down to its final out, Brodey launched the first pitch he saw from Cody Moffett (1-1) to the 405-foot sign just out of reach of center fielder Jared Oliva and right fielder Zach Gibbons, who both collided with the wall as the ball bounced out of reach. Nico Hoerner easily scored the tying run from second base, and Brodey raced around the bases before crossing the plate well ahead of the throw.
