Jeremy Guthrie, who started Game 7 of the 2014 World Series for the Kansas City Royals, signed a minor league contract with a spring training invitation with the Texas Rangers on Sunday. Guthrie, who was 8-8 with a 5.95 ERA in 30 games last season, was not placed on the Royals' postseason roster last year.
