
The second game of the super regional series between Vanderbilt and Illinois has been postponed until Monday because of storms in the forecast. Officials told the teams and fans to leave Illinois Field in Champaign on Sunday night as the skies darkened and lightning started flashing. Defending national champion Vanderbilt (46-19) won the opening game Saturday night 13-0, and needs to win just once more to advance to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.
