The Seattle Mariners have acquired catcher Wellington Castillo from the Chicago Cubs in for right-handed relief pitcher Yoervis Medina. Castillo likely will back up Seattle's Mike Zunino, while Medina will report to Triple-A Iowa with the Cubs organization.
