UCLA gets first no-hitter, 1-0 over Arizona in 10 innings (The Associated Press)
James Kaprielian and David Berg combined to throw the first no-hitter in UCLA history, a 1-0 victory over Arizona in 10 innings Friday night. Kevin Kramer's sacrifice fly drove in the game's only run in the bottom of the 10th, setting off a celebration at the plate as Christoph Bono scored the winner. UCLA said it was the first no-no for the program since the school began keeping baseball records in 1946. Berg (6-1), the Bruins' closer, retired the Wildcats in order in the 10th to set up the walk-off win for UCLA (38-12). More...
