Miami Marlins left fielder Christian Yelich has been placed on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to Monday because of a lower back strain. Yelich, who also spent a two-week stint on the disabled list last season with a similar injury, is batting only .200 with 13 strikeouts in 11 games.
