San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy underwent a heart procedure to insert two stents and was to be hospitalized until Friday. The Giants released a statement late Thursday saying that the medical staff had been monitoring the manager's heart after he experienced some discomfort following a physical exam Wednesday, when the reigning World Series champions reported to spring training. ''This afternoon, Bruce was admitted to Scottsdale Healthcare Medical Center where doctors performed a medical procedure to insert two stents,'' the team said.
