
Down 1-0, the Baltimore Orioles loaded the bases against the New York Yankees for the third time in four innings. After being denied twice earlier, the Orioles finally took advantage of the situation. Jimmy Paredes hit a two-run double with two outs in the 11th inning to rally Baltimore to a 2-1 victory Friday in the opener of a day-night doubleheader. After Chris Young homered in the top of the 11th, Baltimore countered in the bottom half against Adam Warren (3-6).
