David Wright was scratched from the New York Mets' lineup because of increased soreness in his troublesome left shoulder. The third baseman will be examined by a doctor Tuesday instead of facing the Colorado Rockies. The Mets did get back Daniel Murphy, and he is set to bat second Tuesday night.
