The San Francisco Giants will be heading to Arlington, Texas for Game 3 and Game 4 this weekend with the Texas Rangers with a 2-0 winning lead in the 2010 MLB World Series. Sunday is Halloween - and Game 4 - SF Giants colors all around - perhaps the winning day of the series for the Giants. Last team to overcome a 2-0 Series deficit was the New York Yankees against Atlanta in 1996. The Giants have been road warriors.
Big win for the SF Giants in Game 2 Thursday - Giants 9, Rangers 0. SF Giants pitcher Matt Cain pitched 7 2-3 innings, Cain said catcher Buster Posey did a great job calling the right pitches. Edgar Renteria hit a home run and three RBIs. It was a combination of good pitching and offensive, finding the hole. Four straight two-out walks by Rangers relievers.
Former 49ers quarterback Joe Montana was at the game too - he was shown on the videoboard.
Colby Lewis starts Game 3 for the Rangers on Saturday night against Jonathan Sanchez.
Go Giants!
