11th Pan Arab Games, Cairo Egypt
Pan Arab Games start tomorrow in Cairo, Egypt. Sherine El Zeiny and Mohamed Serour from Egypt will be competing there - they qualified to the 2008 Beijing Olympics: [quote]Following the 2007 World Championships in Stuttgart, the FIG Executive Board extended 2008 invitations to Elzeiny and Serour to ensure Olympic representation for each continent. She got 10th at the 2007 Dutch National Championships from June 16-17: http://www.gymnasticsresults.com/2007/nedw.html - she first represented Egypt at the 2007 All-Africa Games in Algeria (July 11-23), where she won the all-around and floor exercise gold medals. 22 countries are competing in 33 sports, including both artistic and rhythmic gymnastics at the 2007 Pan Arab Games, the biggest one so far.
